Happy 1999! Think about it - the turn of the century, a new
millennium is now less than 365 days away. Is this not
awesome? And to think of all the technological advances that
have been made and are continuing to be made daily.

How about all the people that are jumping into cyberspace daily?
This huge wide world has shrunk in size in just a few short years
because of the World Wide Web. Doesn't this make you somewhat
giddy when you think about all the fantastic opportunities that
are just waiting for you to grab.

Consider too,that anyone can succeed on the internet and market
to people from all over the world. Of course, that is, if you are
willing to work and not expect to just set up a web site and have
people flock to it. No, this just won't happen, presenting your
wares on the internet and being successful means you are willing
to roll up your sleeves and work hard to build your clientle. It
also means that you are willing to do what it takes (within reason)
to take care of your customer. I certainly recommend you shy away
from anyone who promises overnight success.

Talking about hard work and taking care of customers, reminds me
that I was invited to take a look at a site, a couple of weeks ago.
Mind you, I have done business with this webmaster and had been
through his site previously. I thought he had a good website then,
but he has a great site now.

Nick Amodio, from http://www.graphxisle.com is the type person I was describing above. Like I mentioned, he has done some banner work for me ( http://gensale2000.com/advertis.html   for some samples >).

I found GraphXisle back when I was surfing the net looking for
a site that made banners and logos. I looked through the site and
found that they would make a free static banner. There was also some neat graphics they offered free. Well, needless to say, I took
advantage of the free stuff. Last of the big spenders, huh!

I posted the information about my site and that I wanted to promote
the newsletter (at that time the GenSale Gazette) with this banner.
Much to my surprise, I receive the banner in just a couple days.
I had expected to wait for a week or more, after all I was asking for
them to make one free.

Shortly after receiving the free banner I decided to purchase a couple more. Since I had already received excellent service I went back to GraphXisle and again posted my request, this time for a quote on making two banners. Once again, their service was second to none. I gave Nick a general run down as to what I thought I wanted the banners to accomplish. He, in turn visited my web site, and proceeded to make two great banners. How To Choose An Affiliate Program

The idea of using affliate program to produce extra income - to attain
financial freedom - has taken the internet by storm! More and more
people are looking around, and attempting to find a real winner.

The problem is, affliate programs are sprouting up all over the place,
and there's just too many of them to keep up with, for the average
webmaster. This makes the choice of the best one or ones to "hook up with" a frustrating and time-consuming process.

Before you "hook up with" any affliate program, I advise you to run
through this check list:

THINK ABOUT THE PRODUCT. Is it a product that you would use regularly, and freely recommend to your friends?

FIND OUT AS MUCH ABOUT THE OPERATION AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN.

Find out how the company keeps track of all incoming orders and when, as well as how you'll be paid.

In essence, before deciding to become involved with an affliate program and expecting to make a profit, it is essential that you understand:the program and how it works.

Picking a winning affliate program can be exasperating because there
